Choose your platform

Ubuntu Server (x86_64)

For workstations and servers — small business to 500+ camera estates.

• Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, 64-bit
• 8 GB+ RAM (16 GB recommended)
• SSD for recordings
• NVIDIA GPU for the AI features (optional — recording works without)

Raspberry Pi (arm64)

For homes and small sites. Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit on both.

Minimum

• Raspberry Pi 4 (8 GB)
• Recordings on a USB 3.0 SSD or powered hard drive
• Google Coral USB Accelerator for the AI features
• Fewer cameras than a Pi 5, and no M.2 — the Pi 4 has no PCIe

Recommended

• Raspberry Pi 5 (8 GB) — up to ~10 cameras
• Recordings on an NVMe SSD (M.2 HAT), or a USB 3.0 SSD / powered hard drive
• Hailo AI HAT (Hailo-8) for the AI features
• An SD card is fine for the OS and the database, but never for recordings

Installing takes about 15 minutes

Run the install command from your email

Request your link below — the email includes a one-line command that downloads Ividiyo and starts the installer (it auto-detects Pi vs x86). Prefer to do it by hand? There's a manual download link too: tar xzf ividiyo-vms-*.tar.gz && sudo ./installer

Follow the web installer

Open http://<your-server>:9090 in a browser — the wizard sets up the database, services, storage, and your admin account.

Add your cameras

ONVIF autodiscovery finds cameras on your network — add them with a click and recording starts immediately. Link a cloud account for the mobile app and remote access.
